Our story

Raised behind the counter.

Our parents immigrated to the United States more than 40 years ago and built American Hero from the ground up. For over 25 years, our family has served heroes in Queens and Brooklyn, growing the business through hard work and the support of the neighborhoods around us.

My cousin and I grew up in those stores and spent more than a decade working alongside our parents. We learned how to build a great hero, remember the regulars and take pride in feeding a neighborhood. Somewhere along the way, their work became our purpose, too.

American Hero Catering is how we’re carrying that tradition forward. We’re bringing the sandwiches we grew up making to celebrations, offices and family gatherings across Long Island and NYC. Same family. Same care. More people at the table.
